Baby shower party is actually a welcoming party for the mom-to-be and the new born baby. It symbolizes how people are so much excited for the becoming new baby that will nearly face the world. Baby shower party is very important because babies are blessing from above, so you must give acceptance for it because not all the people are given a chance to have a baby.

There are many preparations to do in a baby shower party including guest list, invitations, venue, and foods. Deciding about the baby shower theme, decorations, baby shower gifts to be requested, baby shower games and prizes are also part of preparing a baby shower party.

• Invitations. List the guests that will attend or you’ll invite to the party. Then make invitations to be sent to each guests. Make invitations that will give much excitement to the guests and have the idea to come.
• Themes. Having a theme on a baby shower party is a modern way of baby shower parties as of our era now. Thinking about the theme of the party is challenging but simple theme is the best one such as color theme. Cartoon characters also work well as theme of the shower party.
• Events. Planning the whole event can be so hard. Making list is the best thing to do in planning baby shower. List the things that should be done such as guests list, invitations, baby shower games, venue and decorations. Having two or more organizers of the party would be easier to plan the whole party.
• Games. Baby shower games are the one of the best part of a baby shower party where it is the main entertainment of the baby shower party. It is more entertaining than baby shower gifts opening. It is exciting to open baby shower gifts but baby shower games are really more exciting. Baby shower gifts should be prepared by the guests but the games should be prepared by the party organizers.There are so many kinds of baby shower games where definitely everyone in the party will have fun. The party won’t be memorable one if the kind of the games that you will choose would not give so much fun. Here are some games that are fun to play.

a.      Don’t Ever Say “Baby”. As the guests arrive, give each of them a baby pacifier on a string necklace nor a safety pin. If any of the guests heard someone says the “baby” can called out. Whoever the first to do it, will get their nacklace. The one who have collected the most necklace wins.  As a variation, tell them not to cross legs instead of letting them know that they can not tell “baby”.

b.      The Game of Toilet Paper. Each player should be provided by a toilet paper roll. They will tear off the paper according on how they think big around the soon-to-be mom. The player with the closest guess will be the winner.

c.     Guess Who Game. If you want to have this game, in preparing the invitations you’ll give to the guests, ask them to bring their baby pictures. Then as the baby shower goes by, post the photos on a board. Assign number on each photo. The goal here is to identify the baby picture to whom it belongs. This game is very outrageous game.
