There are several approaches to increase your Japanese and fluency. One of many ways is by using a good textbook another is from talking with people in Japanese. My Japanese teacher always advised us that beer enables you to talk much better Japanese and I took her up on her word. I discovered that my spoken Japanese increased substantially once i found a nearby Yakitori eating place that grew to be my local. I found that getting together with Japanese people there and striking up a chat enormously enhanced my fluency.
